Entrepreneurship Champions

The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre (MEC) is proud to present our team of student leaders, who have a passion for learning and understanding entrepreneurship. These students are at the heart of building the entrepreneurial ecosystem here at The University of Manchester.

Deadline to be an Entrepreneurship Champions is 30 September 2024.

Our Entrepreneurship Champions proactively spread entrepreneurial activities across campus, honing valuable career skills in the process. We believe in personal growth as a vital component of entrepreneurship. That's why we also offer workshops and training sessions to help students blossom and find the direction they want to go in.

Our Champions engage in activities such as (but not limited to):

  • Crafting engaging social media content
  • Supporting the execution of MEC’s live events
  • Enhancing the visibility of MEC’s services on campus
  • Managing pop-up stalls during key periods such as Fresher’s Week and fairs
  • Event ideation and planning

We're partners in this journey, so we'll provide exclusive training to help you further develop your skills whenever needed. We also encourage our Champions to represent the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre at key awards and events regularly.

Our Champions represent their respective Faculties and Schools and are agile in taking on new challenges to encourage students to think outside the box in their studies, career, and even daily life!

This opportunity is open to all University of Manchester students across all Schools who are eager to learn or further develop their entrepreneurial knowledge and connections during their time at the University.

The Stellify accreditation is now available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Achieving this award alongside this programme requires regular weekly engagement with the centre. If you're aiming for the accreditation, we recommend applying before or at the start of the school year to ensure you can complete the necessary weekly hours.
