Have a business, side hustle, or freelancing idea? Join our online, challenge-based programme to gain up to £500 and develop skills to refine your idea.

Master skills such as marketing and financial planning, grow your network, and open doors to new opportunities. Up to £500 in prize funding available.
Are you a final-year PhD student, PDRA or early-career researcher? Join our bespoke, expert-led programme to deliver impact from your research.

Take your business to the next level! Enter the UK’s leading university start-up competition with a £100,000 total prize pot.

International Support
We're proud to belong to a global university and we support our international students and graduates to establish businesses both in the UK and in their home countries.
If you are an international student with a Student or Tier 4 visa, you are limited in the type of “business related activity” that you can engage in while you hold this visa. For more information, please refer to the UK Government website.

Startup Visa Scheme
The Startup Visa scheme has now closed permanently, and we are unable to endorse any more applications for a Startup visa endorsement.
